The impacts of Hurricane Dorian were devastating to the Bahamas; particular the Abaco Islands. Beacon For Change believes that in order to achieve a real and lasting impact in the world’s toughest humanitarian emergencies you need to be actively engaged in the crisis. In 2020, Beacon for Change partnered with Mission Resolve and Bahamas Strong Foundation providing support to the most vulnerable communities on the Abacos. Our partners are actively working to rebuild 40 homes, so that these families still living in shelters can return home before the next hurricane season.
